well, i'm making this book of magazine articles/pictures that i like, and this weekend i tackled my mags from fall '07.  probably my favorite part of the semi- time warp was remembering/recognizing the faces in various ad campaigns.  FOR INSTANCE:

-angelina jolie for st. john: HAHAHAHA.  well, that didn't go as planned.  

-mischa barton for iceberg: um what is iceberg.  and if they wanted to be heard of/ respected, shouldn't they have chosen a face that wasn't simultaneously associated with shoes you wore in first grade?

-scarlett johansson for louis vuitton: interesting.  especially since now she's apparently woody allen's new muse?  i don't usually associate louis vuitton and woody allen, but that's just me.

-did zooey deschanel do some juicy couture ads?  because i swear the pics looked like her.

-and was that kate moss for versace?  a year ago i wouldn't have recognized her, but i'm pretty sure the pics were of her.

-annnnd the crown jewel... agyness deyn for burberry: who KNEW how famous she'd be a year from shooting that campaign.  literally, she was just a face then. and now, she's AGYNESS DEYN.
