i'm not going to become a babyblogger, but...

today i was babysitting a nine-year-old-girl, and her mom's people magazine came.  on the cover was a picture of jamie lynn spears, and some text about her baby.  the ensuing conversation:

her: "is that  zoey from zoey 1o1?"

me: "yep..."

her: "did she get married?"

me: "ummm."

and then i changed the subject.

GAWD JAMIE LYNN way to get preggers and create a really uncomfortable moment for me.

in other jls news: i went to britneys ("got milk?" sponsored) concert in 7th grade and she announced that she was sad she was missing her sister's kindergarten graduation.  i mean like, weird.

AND FINALLY. this youtube video came out around the time the pregnancy was announced, and i loved it, until i figured out that the girl in it is being totes pimped out by her parents.  

actually, sounds familiar.  maybe it's all a big foreshadow.
